Four wild turkeys
Watch me in the morn
With intense curiosity
Uniquely their own.
Two males or gobblers
Have reddish heads
And reddish wattles
Beards and fanned tails.
Females called hens
Are smaller in size
Feathers're a bit dull
Features less prominent.
They move elegantly
On the sprawling lawn
Pecking at grass
For nuts and worms.
Maybe they roost
On trees nearby
In the company of many
Of their own species.
Their numbers're on rise
A welcome sign to note
A result of steps taken
By some with foresight.
Watching the birds
Is indeed a delight
I am sure they feel
The same way about us.

Watching the birds Is indeed a delight...yes dear poet. Birds have no worries, no anxieties. They have no assets and and liabilities.
