Fox Poem by MckennaElsie levitt

Fox

im falling hard like a crashing plane,
nothing left to do but deal with the pain,
the pain you keep giving me, granting me this,
it makes me spin in in a vortex of bliss.

I knew in the beginning that i would fall for you,
i know now that it'll leave me feeling blue,
because no matter what i say, no matter what i do,
nothing will ever get me you.

you're what I'm after, you're what i want
but all you do is tamper and taunt.
It hurts my soul, it crushes my spirits,
until all thats left is your disappearing dearest.

I love you too much to let you go, this i insist on letting you know,
for i believe that i deserve you, i try really hard just to love you.
But you hurt me in ways like never before,
so here i am crashing to the floor.

My head is spinning, like living in a day dream,
although in this version, you are with me.
I wish i could prove the distance is nothing,
but you insist on it being something.

I have loved you a very long time,
swore to keep it a secret until you were mine,
i guess i waited a little too long,
because now you are slipping and i am almost gone.

I dont work the way other girls do,
i dont need money and blitz to get me through.
Honestly all i thought i needed...was you.
