Fox In The Henhouse Poem by soren Barrett

Fox In The Henhouse

Hiring a thief to clean your house is making a guardian of your cheese out of a mouse
A left out egg to a snake exposed, is a foregone sentence on the weak imposed
Is the shepherd of guilt exempt, when he leaves his flock, the wolf to tempt
Why must we the fire blame, on the match when it is we ourselves that lit the flame
