Fragile Poem by kimberly hays

foolish dreams
shattered hopes
fall from the sky
as if an ariel raid
was ordered to destroy by being
false laughs
masked faces
glimpses and sometimes traces
of happiness
or
what i thought
happiness was supposed
to feel like
so easy
to forget i am sad
with my face pressed into the bed
so easy to forget what i was searching for
when you smile at me like this
i smile back
so easy to hide
then show you how fragile
i really am
