Fragmented Times Poem by DM W

Fragmented Times

I perceive a new
Tower of Babel via
these architect's eyes.
Old orders are now crumbling,
and decomposing
symbols, make way for crude signs.
Centres are missing.
The golden age has rusted.
Solemn hymns and psalms
do not speak to those who are
nurtured on jingles.
Yet Nature abhors vaccums.
Pitiless idols
emerge on the horizon.
Their self- seeking creeds
will fill up empty vessels.
