Freddy Poem by Kay Moore

Freddy

Immortal "Mercury" you will be,
As loved by millions, across the seas.
Quiet, flamboyant, chain smoker too,
Handsome and gay, still we love you.
Your band and music, stole our hearts,
Your voice enraptured us, right from the start.
Although disease stole you too soon,
Bohemian Rhapsody still causes fans to swoon.
We know your fortune, you left behind,
Yet you will live forever in our hearts and minds
