Free Fall... Poem by Michelle Guza

Free Fall...

Rating: 5.0

I’m entrapped in free fall
Remembering the day that I stood ever so tall
Falling towered the quickly coming ground
Screaming although no one ever will hear a sound
As you watch me get smaller and smaller
You think that you are getting taller and taller
You are the one that took the only one that cares away
Making the state of free fall at a stay
The only one that has ever understood
Just like every good friend should
Less of a friend more of a sister
But we hear you say take her a way in a life jeopardizing whisper
My own father left me in free fall
As Humpty-Dumpty he pushed from the safety of the wall
The person that kept me in from the rain
Has left me in ever so much pain
This isn’t right nor is this fair
Left me in a war all in bare
In free fall is the way you made me
But when will you learn to just let me be
We have done nothing wrong
But you have kept her away for ever so long
I’m a big girl I can handle myself
All you need to know is that I am in good health
She has protected me more then any one has ever
For my true sister has never
I have never been falling so fast
Because you wont let my friend ship last
You say the bad out ways the good
But you wont give her a chance just although you should
She will never do any thing to hurt her little sis
But its making me fall to be like this
Alone and in this free fall
Just let me go and let me be
And then you’ll see
She is the one that helps me not to fall
Open your eyes and then you’ll see it all
Just open your eyes and see that she will bring me in from this free fall!
