Freedom Poem by Mariam Eissa

Freedom

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I envy the birds
For being what they are

They fly wherever they wish
And see lots of fish

They see bees and butterfly
And they never say goodbye

Sometimes I wish to be a bird
And fly
Across the ocean I begin
And home is my end

And in the forests I hide
From the darkness behind

Cause it is not fair at all
To live between a wall
