Freedom Poem by Aryan Nuwal

Those were the days, the last days of the East India company kingdom
Today only because of the sacrifice of some great people, we have earned our freedom
Those were the days of the rule of the English
Puppet rulers were there, honest rulers were dismissed
They were now being a problem which was now growing eventually
We were called the golden bird but now it was caged, not free
They tortured us as their slaves
Discriminated us on our race
Still we esteemed them but that was not enough
Some people amongst us had to take steps tough
Many people came forward to swear
To throwthese English out of the country, that's what they dare
Infront of our eyes they killed our brothers
And created misunderstandings and fights amongst us
Some people were violent, some were not
But everyone in their ways had bravely fought
Today we have our freedom, just because of their sacrifice
And today is the time when we should realize
The fight for the freedom was not easy but till the end they fought
Jai hind Jai Bharat thats what we are taught
Today all the people step out
With our great Tiranga in their hands (very proud)
Jai Hind Jai Bharat thats what we say
Today I wish you all a "Happy Independence Day"! ! ! ! !
