Alone
I was all alone here,
having many thoughts in my mind,
I was in great fear,
I wanted a man who was kind,
a man who would take me home,
out of this scary place.
He should be brave,
who had overcomed the panic,
who would come through the caves,
fighting the waves.
This place must belong to the wizards, no to the dragons or to the witches,
Was it really so.........
I was fearfully making wishes,
In one corner of the room,
This destroyed world,
whos surroundings made sounds,
sounds of bomb blast boomboomboom.
I tried not to be afraid,
And stepped away from my place,
Just then the door handle clutched,
He was the man who raid,
The man whom I dreamt of.
Really he was there for rescuing me,
To take me out of this dream world of mine,
the hero of my thoughts,
the hero of a zero,
he was with all the care I wanted,
He was my DAD.
A beautiful tribute to a loving dad ceremoniously rich in tone. A very passionate creation from the heart. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
A wonderful verse! So much imagination...and a great tribute to the power a father can have. Well done!
