Freedom At Last Poem by Annie Janine

Freedom At Last

Rating: 4.0

Too late
to keep holding
on

It's time
to move
on

and let
the colors
flow

in and out
of my ears
and mouth

twisting
and swarming
over me

the worries lay
blanketing
my world

I am wrapped
in a tangle
of confusion

of anger
of sadness

I'm stuck
I can't get out

a twister of mistakes
is surrounding me
sucking up
all my air

I can't breath
I feel light

I float
upwards
towards heaven

towards happiness

I'm free
at last
