Freedom Of Expression Is Always There Poem by Arun Maji

freedom of expression is always there-
no matter how tyrant is the ruler.

how could a tyrant stop-
your heart beating? your face smiling?
your lips kissing? your mind thinking?
your hands writing?

expression needs courage to express,
will to express, imagination to express.

no ruler is strong enough
to stifle a strong mind.

a thinker or a writer
should just focus on expressing,
and not give a damn about
who is ruling.
