Freeing Myself Of You Poem by Jay Curster

Freeing Myself Of You

I’m so tired of the lies that compromise my fate
And these pills that kill the emotions I waist
The dead life hateful wife the tears I taste
To undue my birth back to earth in haste

And you will see the perpetuity of indignant sin
As you postulate to show how ignorance grows within
You play it well the self righteous knell Satan grins
Now seal your fate love your hate here it begins

I want to see where you will be as I fall apart
Will you turn back with your dark Heart and black art
You never cared or tried to spare your cruel part
And this knowledge of you that is true I impart

It is in vain to avoid my pain but I can stay true
It is my eyes seeing, my feet fleeing that I bid adieu
It is the belief in some kind of relief of that which is anew
It’s the knowing that keeps me going freeing myself of you
