Freeloading Poem by Randy McClave

Freeloading

Let's call it all absurd
Let's not hear or listen to one word,
About cutting programs for the elderly
Or on the poor, veterans, children or the needy.
That door should be closed and shut
Until after all corporate welfare is cut,
And we should not be relaxed
Until all political serving churches are taxed.
No matter of the gender or age
Congress should only receive an hourly wage,
Political freeloading should not be a perk
They should be paid for actual hours that they work.
This I do believe and I also do say
A taxpayer I am every single moment of every day,
Let's not hear one word about cutting programs
Until you tax the goats as you do the lambs.
