Frenemies, You Are No Enemy Poem by Oreoluwa Sanni

Frenemies, You Are No Enemy

Table with my frenemies.
They think they are enemies.
Wolves on the porch.
But not a dragon with a torch.

Puppets on a string
Are you the devil's adorning bling?
Because Kali thinks she's king.
Jinns starting to grow wings.

Put them in their place.
Let them know their superior.
Intimidating gaze
But they will learn whose Inferior.
Fasting in his grace
Spiritual growth in my interior.
Flee from my face.
Leave without a trace.

Pull my sword out in a haste.
Their poison had no taste.

Wanna cause a ripple in my brain?
So it goes down through my veins?

While I'm trying to cut their chains.
They are trying to put me to shame.

But I'm trying to fix up their frame.
Trying to Restructure their aim.

But they put that scum on my name.
I'm serious, it's not a game.
Cause the scores are written in flames.

I don't mind you thinking I'm insane.
In front of my eyes, I'm seeing the same.

You're diving down deep into danger
While feeling like your a Lone Ranger.

Ignore my message
Go Shake hands with a dark stranger.
I promise you, he's no life changer.

I'm telling you, can't see my enemy.
You all are just plain naive frenemies.
I wish you well.
And yes know what you sell.
The lies that you tell.
But would that pull me to hell?

I see the pages ending slowly
.Happiness to those which he calls holy.
No more cycle rounds of monopoly.
The sweet melody 🎼‘My enemy charged for every last felony.'

Please, frenemies don't pretend.
Don't join his descend.
I don't wish that for your end.
With understanding, I'll recommend.
Redeem yourself, let's transcend.
I'm not here to offend.
But neither surely will I defend.

My battles are plainly spiritual.
But sometimes they affect the physical.
Saved by his grace, yes it is biblical.
And it always ends, it's a miracle.
