Frenzied Thoughts Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Frenzied Thoughts

My thoughts do wander hour by hour,
As to when you'll join me in the bower,
When we shall talk and chat and see,
What does the future hold for you and me?

Will we be friends or lovers too?
Will we sit together and ‘bill and coo'?
Or will we be fated to be strangers yet?
To be as if we had never met.

How can we progress from thought to fact,
To turn a chance meeting into something exact?
Where friends rather than strangers we may be,
To start a future for thee and me.

The Human Mind with thoughts dost fill,
Those Thoughts run amok when idle still,
So frenzied words into poetry dost go,
To be construed into verses real slow.
