Friendship Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Friendship

Rating: 5.0

The thought of being with you
Keeps me sane in life,
Of walking, talking and dreaming of you,
Away from all life's strife.
Can we put away our cares,
When together we relax?
And forget all our troubles,
And cut ourselves some slack?
May our friendship grow ever strong
When mutual pursuits enhance our days,
In so many different ways,
That we wish to be together,
And prolong those hours for us,
And miss each other madly,
When apart from each other, is a must.
