Friends - Poem by Marcetta Hospelhorn

Cronies, pals, chums—
Always friends; United in purpose,
Now and again. Favorable, influential persons—
Blowing a friendly wind;
Promoting mutual interest,
Respect without end. Neighborly, affectionate—
Lacking no esteem;
Ultimately belonging,
On each other's team. Forever patrons and associates
Dispensing no condemnation;
Amicably well-disposed,
With friendly inclinations.
