Friends - Poem by Leah Michele
I love my friends... Well the ones that last,
The ones fade are just a thing of my past.
Whether they be friends from the past or the present, they all made me who I am today.
Though there are some I wish had stayed,
I wouldn't change the fact that they're gone.
It would be pointless for those friendships to have lived on.
The situations and people change,
To try to keep things the same would've been strange.
I can't stay focused on what could've been.
Old friends that left made room for the new.
They helped me learn the difference between fake and true.
