Friends Are Not Won
Friends are not won
Saturday,16th February 2019
Life was bitter
till you entered
and offered
a rose and wished
it was a new beginning
with a shining
example of a good friend
and so in it a logical end
You were not only a good teacher
but good healer
who lacked no courtesy
but healer's charm with modesty
You stood your ground well
to tell
my conscious that friends are real
if you have an inner feel
Life goes on
but friends are not won
if shown little discourtesy
and behaved arrogantly
I cherish such memory
with deep and touchy
relation for the days to come
I sincerely and heartily welcome
