Friends Betray Poem by Montaha Gasir

Don't trust a soul,
Because friends betray.
You'll sit and watch,
As they turn you to prey.

You believe from your heart,
That their love is true,
But it is only them,
Who rip your heart into two.

They leave you wondering,
‘How could it ever be,
That a betrayal like this,
I could not foresee? '

I'm not saying this,
To be cold and bitter.
I only truly wish,
I was sharper and witter.

So don't trust a soul,
Because friends betray.
They'll crush your heart,
And watch it decay.
