Friends Can Sense Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

There are degrees of problems
a friend can sense when one of their freinds is hurting
It may be very sublte
or not so subtle
but a friend can tell

A friend will always come to the aid of their friend
this is what freinds do
A friend will always try to comfort
or lessen your burdon
or to make a frown into a smile

A friend will put aside differences
in times of trouble
and forget grudges
when they sense the there is an urgent problem

I have a friend who is hurting
I don't know how or why
but I sense something is wrrong
I wish and hope there is some way I can help

Because she has only been a friend to me
