Friends Until The End? Poem by Ray Hansell

For you I want to write just a poem or two
But I'm not too sure if it's the right thing to do

Now, I don't want you to get the wrong idea
It's not that I want you to always be near

I like you as a friend I think I always will
But you don't cause in me that special kind of thrill

So I'll write you a poem but just because you're my friend
It's friends I hope we remain until the very end
