Friendship Poem by Michael McCoy wilson

Friendship

Some are brought into conformity with nature
Most of it is built by those people involved
While few other friendships do not just work
That too can be said to be of Mother Nature

To be liked is never a thing gotten by force
Neither is it a thing one can hold as possession
Though at times it can, with money, be bought
That is not natural love but out of natural lust

The best of it has to be of a mutual tendency
A spirited agreement in within two persons
It can bring gladness that will last till eternity
Everyone craves for this; not all will have it

Goodwill is determined by who you cherish
Someone who gives gladness at mere seeing
A person you would always want to be with
Or you want to share the rest of your life amid

To have a friend is never a thing of selection
It is sometimes burn out of unaware wish for
And at other times, it comes with squabbles
A friend is a soul-mate regardless of troubles
