From A Virgin Birth Poem by Randy McClave

From A Virgin Birth

From a virgin birth
Jesus Christ came upon the Earth,
He taught us all of forgiveness and love
Given to us all from God above.
He told us not to judge or to ever hate
If we did that would be our ultimate judgement and fate,
And he told us not to be selfish and greedy
And to always help the poor and the needy.
Then we lied and we had him falsely convicted and crucified
As on the cross we watched as he suffered and died,
The son of our very own God
We cursed and hated and we accused him as a fraud.
And only after when the Lord was dead
We worshipped him and the words that he had said,
Then we started hating those who we believed shouldn't
And we started killing those who wouldn't.
