Not for the smallest fraction
Of a nanosecond
Do I believe we are alone.
But if we were
I could not be sad or lonely
As our garden world
Is teaming with
Our brothers and sisters
With billions of ideas
Dreams, hopes and stories.
And if we were alone
How rich our destiny
Its exploration would be
Ours for the taking
No matter how long it took
And in that time
Improvement in our gardens’ care,
Must be ours for the making.
