From First Day
From day one
I felt wonderful
As she turned successful
With completion of sixty five years
It almost covered forty four long years
“Will you marry me” I was stunned
When I had gone to fix the date for wedding
I looked with mix feeling
She was ready and willing
No one was ready to give daughter
As I was soldier
My life was considered in dangerous zone
No canvassing for marriage was done
It was arranged meet
I saw her first time and greeted
It was almost made agreeable
There was not at all any trouble in fixing
Right from marriage ill today
She has stayed all the way
Despite being little sick and unable to walk
She has rare mixture of smile with cheers when attempts to talk
