From My Head To My Heart

What a defining moment
When truth begins its penetration
From just a curious amount of reading
To the acknowledgement of Salvation
When God's Spirit brings it home
That yes! ...praise God the Bible is true
The work of faith invokes effect
Then to make a brand new you

Hallelujah for the appetite
That the blessed Spirit gives
Drawing us to believe the truth
That Lord Jesus really lives
And the magnetism of such
Is what holds us to the Cross
Until we see by believing faith
There He suffered all the cost

Then repentance comes on full fledge
All of our sins with their enormity
Are seen as covered by the blood
Himself become our Surety
Now my heart is drawn to believe
I will glory in that Lamb
My heart His home to rest forever
Trusting Christ the great I Am!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
