From My Window I Watched Poem by Raymond Farrell

From My Window I Watched

From my window
I watched
A Mourning Dove
Swoop down
And land
On the leafless branch
Of a tree
There he sat
Craning his neck
Moving his head
Side to side
Watching
A black cat
Amble slowly
Under the tree
Which was
Completely unaware
Of his presence
In the branches
Above.

A meaningful poem. The correcting spelling is; Mourning dove tho. (For the lamentful sounds it makes)
