From O.A.U. To A.U. Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

From O.A.U. To A.U.

Bumble bee! !
Where are you hiding?
Bull, bullish!
From O.A.U. to A.U.;
But, where is the unity of the Africans?
Owl, owlish!
Sad to say it;
But the Problems of the Africans are not easily dealt with.
Sheep, sheepish!
With corruption everwhere;
And, Mother Africa weeps to find the solution.
From O.A.U. to A. U.,
Cried the beloved child of Africa! !
Waiting for the day that, things will be better;
With leaders who put more into their pockets than,
Thinking of their people.
