From One Unknown To The Next
The orange-coloured sea is sweltering,
the sun is setting gently
and undulatingly,
the unflinching birds fly
to their nests,
and the sun, time, ocean,
and sky are all present. As time passes quickly
and we embrace eternity
on earth from unknown to
unknown,
a toddler perched on a bank
surveys the landscape
as a shadow creeps along
the bank...
