From Sin To Salvation Poem by Claude Simpson

From Sin To Salvation

Let's avoid sin by all means
And not be deceived and slain by it.
Let's not obey sin
And die in condemnation;
But let's offer ourselves to righteousness
For the redemption.

If we do that which we would not,
Then sin is the instigator;
But if the good that we would do, we do not;
Then sin is the attacker.
So let's separate ourselves from transgression
And do good.

The commandment is ordained to life
And is holy, just and good.
So let's pray that all our members be holy
And that we sin no more;
Knowing that we are the righteousness of God
Through Jesus Christ our saviour.
