From The Bosom Of Mother Nature

Rating: 5.0

Man, O Man! Do you listen to me?
Or have the dust rotten and perished away thee?
Me gave thee sight, you don’t wanna see.
Me lighted a flame in thy breast, you wanna flee.

Thee climbed high to the top of the world,
Thee survived every devastating natural flood,
Thee prized for bathing in the battlefield mud;
But thee failed to hear a tear’s dull thud.

The Death Zone you passed without any fear,
Faced every devil from so very near,
Won every war you dreamt for victory;
Still you couldn’t cease thy inside slaughtery.

In every act you stabbed me hard
Still I wait for thee to take my hand.
I forgive you for all thy sins
I am waiting as I have waited since.

I showered my love, which you should have admired;
You entangled in false bonds and, me? You fired.
I gave thee heart you moulded to diamond,
I gave thee a voice within you have long silenced.

Never did I bar thee from seeking my love,
Thy caused havoc never made me tough;
But my love-weapons don’t surpass your glass wall.
Let the fragrance of buds spread under thy shawl.

You still don’t know my identification?
I am the one who gave thee thy sense and organ.
You still have time to melt thy heart;
And I promise thee the chance for a new start.

good write...motivating and inspirational...could have avoided those 'wannas' there...do not fit into the otherwise classic mould of this write...10+
