From The Clouds (2009) Poem by Lillian B. Rose

From The Clouds (2009)

From the clouds he came at night
to herald in the morning light
a comforter in the midst of trial
Whn I wasn't sure whom to dial
defensive, stretched beyond belief
Things valued were vanishing with the time
Angry voices shouted loudly
But in your calmness I relaxed
Over-protected my space was invaded
'Til I grew wary of the people I trusted
My stress was too high
But you sheltered me from the storm
I am a warrior wary of the fight
And in your steady arms
'neath your passionate touch
warmed two hearts in need of steadying
Because from the clous he came at night
to hold me in the morning light
