From The Empty Room Poem by Joshua Aube

From The Empty Room

From the empty room,
Through the silent window curtains,
The evening's light seeps out into the dusk.
And the erhu stops its song.

Then, like the surge of the summer flood,
You come.
And I become the darkness in you.
