But The Stars At Night Poem by Joshua Aube

But The Stars At Night

(to C)

Bit by bit I lose you
And every time it brims over,
And every time my heart finds something to hold on to,
For it never loses hope,
Hope for what, it has no words.

Or maybe it knows
Maybe deep down it knows
That dust and dust and wind and wind
Will meet one day
And no one will know
Not even us,
But the stars at night.

(I dont agree with the poem at the moment, I would have deleted it, but poems are people by themselves, so live and let live)
