I am ashamed
of what I have come to be,
refusing to acknowledge
what was given to me.
Counting none but your demons
I was blinded, I was greedy.
For too long, I pointed fingers
-saying this, saying that
I gathered all but your hearts,
to murder a soul that is cracked.
I can never forgive myself.
I do not see fit to ask through.
For what I have done was vile,
thus I cannot face you.
I can only give my sincere gratitude,
for all the love, for all the memories
for giving me the chance to feel wonders
for giving me a home and a family
I hope you will hear me,
and I hope you will read this
for it took me so long to see,
that spending time with you,
was a bliss for eternity.
