From The Skies I See Poem by Jane Z

From The Skies I See

Bitterness preludes
To soar and find this world,
leave behind nothing but emptiness.

It is a bliss
To be ignorant,
nothing more than avertible soul.

It is dying pain
Finding out something you know,
but never dared to acknowledge.

Incapable of bearing sight at pain
Assistance in reinforcing themselves,
in return finding own soul torn apart.

Relishing: sunshine like smile...
Like fire spreading amongst by passers
warming one to the bottom of bones.

The cursed land, en prisoned here
Where there is no escape,
Spread souls wings and solemnly fly.

That dull wilted heart
Ponders effortlessly
Watching from thee skies.
