From The Womb Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

From The Womb

After-birth,
From the womb,
And of the children that she bears;
But stubbornly noted with the muse of your love!
And she held her peace on the matter.
Purify yourself and change your clothes,
For the great tree of weeping had seen everything;
And like the children that she bears.
