Frozen Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Frozen

Rating: 4.0

Frozen

Don't want to take shower
Instead, want to bathe…

Shower ends in faucet
While bath is storage.

Want to keep in store
What was mine, now fallen…

Since want the purest
Will and do level best.

Cleaned me of the filth
Therefore, see my parents;
Both mother and father,
Histories behind them.

Can defend very past
Of the nation's culture.

See their love, emotions
For us and each other.

What is this difference
Which talks of invader?

This nasty lullaby
Is only to divide!

We are rocks, on us rain;
Frozen, splashed, scattered.

Read of our ancestors
On tablets and in caves;
We have been and remain
Siblings, brothers and sisters.

Though we may walk tracks
Of mud in the marshlands
Of lagoons, continents
We remain united.
