Two steps forward
Ten steps back
Very frustrating
That's a fact

Wish you could see me
The way i see you
All that i do
Is pure and true

So misunderstood
I do not know why
You choose to not listen
Get it all wrong

So very frustrating
Where we are at
If you could only talk
We'd find a way

If only you knew
My heart was true
Not only to you
But to me too

Please stop seeing negative
There is really none there
Open your eyes
See how i care

You have taught me a lot
Inspired me too
I opened my heart
I listened to you

A better person now
Is where i am
In so many ways
Wish you could understand
