Frustration Of The Mind Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Frustration Of The Mind

Why do YOU frustrate my Mind
So early in the Morn?
As I awake at Five a.m.
When I could sleep until dawn.

My inner thoughts tumble in my Brain,
With trepidation of the unknown,
For today Lisa moves my flat
From my old to my new home.

I wish the Nurses would quiet be,
Talking in the corridor aloud,
To let my thoughts think of THEE,
And of my Daughter of whom I am proud.

For the past three months she has put her Life on hold,
Coping with the extra burden,
Whilst I have been in hospital,
YOUR Help has been there ~ I am certain.

Please help her with the stress of today,
And of the next week too,
For the days ahead are unknown to us,
But have been planned before by YOU.

4 April 2014.
