Fulfilled Poem by Chandrashekar a posy poet

Fulfilled

All through,
The endearing journey
Have come across
Many curious curves,
Steep, elusive and evasive with
Countless ups and downs,
Mighty hillocks and deep forests
From gorgeous green,
To ravishing rivers,
From parched fields
To scorching deserts
From ravenous thorns
To emphatic Alps
So fierce and furious
To stumble and bleed,
To crumble and crushed
And at times
To ponder and breed,
To nourish and nurtured,
To chase and cherished
Even to feel the tender touch
And breathe the gentle air

Was bestowed upon
Enough foes and friends
From all sides and strides
Some graceful, some blissful,
And many fictitious lot
More to scream from top
And few to lift from bottom
From the blues, deep blues
And those to remain
Truly treasured forever

The spectrum of colors
To enthrall allover
On either side of the way
I passed through so far
Yet, they failed to persuade
To change my direction
Thus chosen by
Defied the shortcuts head on
And stuck to beliefs those were
Close to my heart

Yeah,
So called hurdles
At every stride
Were indeed new vistas
Left open to be explored
Many meaningful lessons learnt
In the process to make
Every moment of life worthwhile
Wow, such an exciting sojourn!
Though, never to look back
And ever to take stock
No glories even to leave behind
Yet, I feel immensely elated
And copiously fulfilled…
