The Mustang days are such fun
Everybody’s getting all ready
Horses stand so patiently
So beautiful strong and steady

Handsome guys astraddle
The horses of amazing grace
Hats atop the posse’s heads
Nervousness there’s not a trace

And there it is, flying so proud
Our US American flag
Get ready everyone because
No one is allowed to lag

Beautiful ladies on a float
Smiling their sweetest smile
Folks lined up along the street
They’ll stay for quite awhile

And please, let us not forget
The firemen we need so much
All shined to a brilliant glow
The fire engine’s special touch

So get ready, folks, to celebrate
Line up along the street
An enjoyable day had by all
Great people you’ll get to meet!
