Fur Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Fur

It's always my cat
That reminds me to be still
How can she do that?

All the time
Sharing peace with her space
Always sharing peace with her space
She lets the lines of life untangle around her
As she sits on matted fur
Unaware of her dandruff
Basking on the glow
Of knowing who she is

A cuddle
A smile
A comfort
A friend

An inspiration
