Furfect Love Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Furfect Love

Come, dear, let me love you forever
Break your heart, I will do never
Just you and me running the night free
Hunting for someone who will taste better

We will sing our songs in the moonlight
While making love just before dawn
Always in tune when we howl at the moon
Expressing our reverence before Luna

It's not fair that the world fears the Werewolf
We are so much alike in what we do
Humans eat meat and to us they taste sweet
But in our woods, they rarely come through

Sit here under the shelter of my shadow
Don't be afraid of my playful bites
Soon you will leave your life for me
In a few hours just before twilight

Say goodbye to friends within your old life
By the next moon, they won't matter to you
At that moment you'll be, a werewolf like me
Hunting in the nights of the moon
