When I want to remain best friends with you?
How do I keep my feelings at bay,

But stay in my room and avoid you?
Why is it so painful to look your way,
And know that I won't be okay?

What am I supposed to do,
Now that these feelings have gotten through?
What am I supposed to say,
When you ask why I am acting this way?

What am I supposed to do,
When all I can think of is you?
How can I stay away,
When you're in my mind every second of every day?

What am I supposed to do,
But wonder if you feel the same way too?
Would it matter at all anyway,
When we are both so afraid to throw everything else away?

What am I supposed to do,
Now that I'm in love with you?
How sad is it to hear me say,
That I will just wait for you to love me back someday?
