Garden Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Garden

Rating: 3.5

The roses, the flowers,
Did inundate my gardens,
This garden seemed full to the brim.
Under warm, tropical showers.

The lotus on the water,
With it's green leaves,
Was filled with the meaning of life,
It talked about averting strife.

The daisy in the field,
Trembled in the sunshine.
It's significance lay in fun shine.

The tulips looked both rugged,
And delicate.
Those two qualities,
In tulips met.

I filled gardens.
I averted strife.
I trembled in the fun shine.
I looked delicately nice.

For you see,

I'm a garden flower of great beauty.
