Garden Of Eden Poem by michael Smajda

Garden Of Eden

Will you escape to the
Garden of Eden with me.
I want to see how strong
Your love for me will be.

I heard there is a tree
With a fruit, if you, grapple,
Destroys love between lovers,
Said to be a special apple.

One bite of this morsel
Immediately causes confliction,
No longer love between lovers
A long term conviction.

Should we leave this garden
And tempting apple in tact,
We'll know, then, our love
For each other is true fact.
