If I Kissed You
If I kissed you,
What would you do?
Slap my left cheek?
Shout, "How dare you? "
Or whisper this
Into my ear,
"Kiss me again.
I love you, dear! "
Absolute beauty. Poems starting with the word 'If' are loaded with great human sensibilities. Loved reading this poem with romantic musing.
